Requirements.
Participants must meet the following inclusion criteria to be eligible for this clinical trial:
- 18 years or older for patients with established CVD
- 40 years or older for patients with high risk for CVD
- Current or former smokers, not currently smoking
- Prescribed 2 or more blood pressure medicines (including a water tablet/diuretic
- History of heart or circulation problems (such as heart attack, stroke, stent, bypass, or narrowed arteries)
- Higher risk of heart disease or stroke (for example: diabetes, kidney problems, atrial fibrillation, smoking, age 70+, high BMI)
